Excellent
2 of 2 found this helpful Wellll... look no further!!!! POWER..
Engineering brick no problem for drilling holes into for back boxes etc.
I wanted to test its power so I cut the SDS + bit off one of my 22mm cavity wall drills...... you can guess what i did next..
This thing went through a cavity wall with a 22mm masonry drill bit like my old makita SDS + drill did... this drill has so much power its amazing...
One downside... ITS FRIKIN LOUD.. when drilling on max speed into masonry... I advise ear defenders,,,

ELECTRICIANS DREAM
1 of 1 found this helpful I was debating buying a wall chaser,,, but thought a angel grinder would have more uses... didnt want cordless and lets face it 18v would just not cut it.... LOL
I replaced all my makita stuff with the flexvolt 56v stuff......
on 2 9Ah batteries I cut vertical chases on every socket and light switch on a 4 bed rewire with a diamond cutter blade. it made QUICK work of chases... cut the 2 groves with the width of a armeg channel chaser, and had the hold house marked up and chased in 1 day.
Be warned..... this method kicks up a LOT OF DUST. I have cut extractor hoods, metal bar.... again... it has so much power...

Excellent product
1 of 1 found this helpful I replaced all my Makita stuff with the new flex volt stuff, and WOW.... you get what you pay for.
Power...... but power with Control.
105mm core through cavity wall took about 2min, the bricks were a little soft, not the hardest engineering brick but still... The best part of this is the control... you have 56v of power but with a light touch of the trigger you can achieve exact results. chased out a back box with perfect levels each time,,, as you can just touch the trigger to give light hammer but still powerful enough to chase out but not to powerful it takes half the wall out....
You can see by the pictures.... perfect results.
BUY IT.... its worth it.
