Just what I wanted!
I loved the movies and of course wanted to hear the songs again. I won't write about Vol. 1. But Vol. 2 is what I expected, what I wanted, and am I pleased, happy, ecstatic!!!! The Q does love music and he selected some excellent tunes for this flick. I lived in Spain and imbibed flamenco during my visit. The Spanish influenced songs make me want to dance. The "No One Told Me about Her" is moving and again, I want to dance when I hear it. And sing along!

Dense and packed with comprehensive and accurate knowledge about whales
Lyall Watson is a marvelous writer. He combines science with the 'other' and makes it all so real and relative to our lives. This book he says is the most up to date publication about whales. It was for its time and it is very dense and probably for whale geeks rather than a casual reader.

Introduced to new authors and reading stories by knowns
I love collections of short stories especially of authors I haven't read. This was a great collection. Woman as the winner and not a whimpering wimp. This theme was basic for all the stories. Women who expect to kick butt and get their butts kicked and can take it. Women who use their intelligence, their luck, their skills and their empathy not forgetting objectivity. This is also my favorite kind of book because I will use to locate and read the books written by these authors. It means I haven't run through all the books and authors worth reading.
