Was not compatible. .
I was seeing what I thought was the classic, vintage USB. Male plug. After receiving it I found there are several generational of USB: I need the 2.0 and wish there had been an advisory in the seller's posting re the need to know that non compatibility is an issue. Can't find the 2.0 USB to VGA that I need.
