Great beginner or backup spare banjo! I'm pickin' 'n' grinnin'
Much lighter in weight than many banjos. Decent quality neck, frets, tuners. Been playing guitar over 40 years and felt like dabbling in banjo. This one plays/sounds better than the $400 ones at my local shop. I'm sure there are banjo nuances I'm not attuned to yet that reveal it's cheapness but it most certainly is a nice beginner instrument. (I do know how to check my action/truss rod, etc...). My guitars include Martin and Guild and the quality of this banjo feels okay to me. Nice feeling neck, frets, and tuners. I did add an arm rest for $20(it must be one that fits 16 bracket banjos. My arm rest is from banjoteacher.com)

Classic look with great intonation!
Provide for great intonation and look on a classic tele bridge. Changed out the modern bridge on my Player Tele for the classic bridge/saddles for under $25.

Classic tele bridge
2 of 2 found this helpful It appears to be like the one on the Brad Paisley Road Worn tele. Shiny chrome in front of the pickup but matt/worn metal behind it and a little rough on the edges. Five minutes with a file and emory cloth fixed the roughness to my liking and I love the bridge. Fits and functions perfectly on my Fender Player Tele with the Wilkinson compensated saddles I added. All together less than $25 to change from modern bridge to the classic bridge.
