"Inferior design and over priced"
1 of 1 found this helpful This replacement cable works as designed. It's fault is the original design of the potted eyelet on one end of the cable. They are not designed to take the beating that normal use of the snow thrower forces upon it. I have now broke 2 of them (of no fault to the snow thrower). The replacement cost of this cable is way out of control knowing that inevitably it will break.

Edger blade wear
I purchased this part (9" diameter) because the old one was worn down to 5" diameter. I find the steel to be relatively soft and subject to immediate wear. The operator has to be very careful to not contact the adjacent concrete or the blade will destroy itself in a short period of time.
