This Chromebook is great with Linux. I wiped Chrome OS (support had ended for this model). Replaced the firmware with Mr.Chromebox's and installed Zor

This Chromebook is great with Linux. I wiped Chrome OS (support had ended for this model). Replaced the firmware with Mr.Chromebox's and installed Zorin Os Lite 17. The script to fix the sound worked great (also on the Mr.Chromebox website) and little tweaks to keyboard and touch pad were needed. Runs really snappy and battery life is great even at 80% health. Good screen, good keyboard, nice port selection and sturdy. Recommended for Linux nerds!
