comprehensive and great information on the topic
detailed information, well written by multiple contributors in their field of expertise. Everybody working in this field should have a copy of this on their shelves. Like previous as well as following editions , the 6 edition is definitively worth having and completes this great work.

comprehensive and complete and a very good read
This is a very detailed and indeed complete history of the Hofner Violin bass. Also it contains a lot of great pictures some of which are quite rare and I have never seen before. As an owner of a Hofner Violin bass myself and admirer of the instrument I can only recommend this book strongly to anyone interested in the history of this fantastic instrument.

detailed and comprehensive
Very detailed information about the concerts which no other book about Wings covers. Also lots of new information is available, too. The book is also very well written with lots of helpful references. As a die hard Wings fan I highly recommend this new book by Adrian Allen.
