Perfect, works with my tv
1 of 1 found this helpful I had to do my research finding a remote for this tv that I can navigate the settings menus, change inputs, turn the tv on and off and adjust the volume. Old toshiba remotes for non smart TVs will work for turning the device on and off, adjusting volume and changing inputs but the menu/back/last buttons and directional arrows don’t always work and it makes navigating the settings/menus very difficult. On the flip side, normal fire tv remotes will pair and with with this tv but these remotes do not have power and volume buttons. The updated latest fire tv remotes with power and volume apparently do NOT work with any smart TVs, only a specific fire tv or tv stick so this was also a bust. There were a few generic smart tv remotes that said they’d work with this tv but had bad reviews and seemed very cheap. I had no choice but to shell out a little more (almost twice the cost of any other fire tv remote) and get a remote that was guaranteed to work 100% with my tv. I do not use mine as a smart tv and it is not logged into amazon, but the remote still does what I need it to do (power/volume/inputs/settings). This remote also says “Insignia” but do not be discouraged if you have a Toshiba. My Toshiba (43LF621U19) is listed and this remote still works fine. If you look at some later model non smart and smart Insignia and Toshiba TVs you will notice they look similar sometimes being indistinguishable unles you see the brand badge, likely sharing some of the same technology, but Toshiba always seems to have better LCD panels, frequency and response times, much more natural picture quality and less blur over insignia in my experience.

This thing kicks
For such a small sub this thing really puts out. I have it in a sealed and insulated box, downfiring. I have both coils wired in parallel down to 2 ohms and hooked up to a fosi tp02 sub amp pushing around 160-170 watts at 2 ohms and this thing sounds like it’s hooked up to 5x that power. Its being used as a custom home theater style sub for my gaming PC setup. I am strongly considering purchasing a CT sounds 8 inch 800 watt sub for my car, throw it in a single ported box and hook my Memphis 750 mono block up to it.
