A good product but a short life.
This replaces my first 635-24 pan because the interior finish began to wear aware quite badly. If it wasn't ideal for cooking soups, puddings, etc. I probably would not have replaced it with an identical pan. Despite using polymer utensils almost entirely the bare steel began to show through in many places and the whole bottom of the pan developed a rough texture. I'm hoping, of course, that this newer one will wear better but it's not based on any information about an improved finish. As I indicated, it's ideal for many kinds of cooking but be aware that the interior finish may wear away resulting in a "disposable" pan. On another note, I have four other Cuisinart pans of different sizes and capacities but none of them have shown a similar problem.
