1 of 1 found this helpful A number of reviews mentioned this is not as easy to play as a recorder and that is true. I've played guitar for over 30 years and a reed instrument was not an easy transition. Reading the reviews the how to book that came with the the xaphoon I was playing in no time. I takes more air to play than a recorder but I'm getting used to it. The tone that I'm getting is closer to a clarinet than a saxophone but is surprising rich coming out of a ~$50.00 instrument.
