keeps lactose at bay
It works very well controling the effects of lactose. I recommend it.

not adapted to Venison
The recipes call for specific amounts of everything as you might expect but venison is cut and wrapped in non-specific weights. I wish Bob could have figured out a way to work with a pound and a half or two lbs instead of exactly one pound.

Very useful particularly if you live in the central east area.
The book has lots of very useful information but is very regional to the central east coast in scope (maybe I missed this fact before I bought it). Nevertheless, it was certainly worth the price.
