It works!

This little strip of plastic saved me from taking off the forks and replacing the seals! My bike only has 1500 miles and my right fork started to have a very slow leak. From past experience I bought new seals and then came across this little tool. It was worth the try since it's very inexpensive. In a few minutes I cleaned the seal area from the debris causing the issue and no more problems. Very nice little gadget definitely try before changing your seals.

works good

This rectifier replaced the original that was defective. It works well giving about 13.5V at idle and 14.5 at 5000 rpm. I cannot say anything on longevity since unfortunately it is a Chinese made product. I was hoping this would be of USA or Japanese origin. It does come with a 1 year warranty so we will see how it performs in that time.
