Some people will do anything...
Another one of Tristan's cool adventures. An adventure is a journey gone wrong and what an adventure Tristan has in between the pages of ICE. Few of us would even have a thought of trying to get as far north as we could in a small sailboat. But Tristan Jones was a breed apart as he proves in this dramatic true story. One has to read it to realize just how well one has it!

Being a sailor...
As always Tristan Jones writes a good book. I have read many, many books written by sailors but Tristan's are the best. He was not afraid to direct humor unto himself. Nor was he afraid to admit defeat. But, he persevered. As a sailor I find it amazing that he successfully sailed a 20' boat (Sea Dart) off the West Coast of South America (The Incredible Voyage) and even though he 'may' have altered the facts somewhat (in my opinion only because of time.) there is no doubt in my mind that he was an exceptional sailor and human being. Read one of his books and you will be hooked and eager to read them all.

Breaks Easily
I've used this tripod maybe two dozen times. The last time I went to adjust the legs and one snapped off. Each leg has two eighth inch aluminum wires inside it and after being bent enough times it snapped off. Aluminum will do that.
