A good detailed description of the hikes, but no rating system.
This is a good book with lots of information about the hikes. It has quite a few black and white photos. As there are so many hikes, this book is probably better for getting more detail once you decided on the hikes you want to do. The book 'Don't waste your time in the Canadian Rockies' is better for deciding where to go.

Well written and well organaized book.
I like the format of this book. It has a good index and it is pretty easy to find things in. I also like that it tells you the price of different attractions. More color pictures would be nice.
I liked it better than Frommer's book.

It's your average travel guide. Nothing great.
