SKF VKJC 1048 Golf MK4 diesel driveshaft

Arrived in good solid cardboard box. Looks and feels solid. The universal joints appear quite stiff but in line with expectations of a new product. This was about 50% more expensive than Q-drive variant and I'm hoping that I will not have to revisit this part again for many years. Came with new socket cap bolts but I reused my old ones. All works.....no issues. I'm happy.

So nearly a great product.....

Just one flaw which ever so nearly tips the balance to the wrong side and that is the design is such that there is a sharp edge on the handle end. Not sharp enough to draw blood but sharp enough to make you think it's uncomfortable when it's in use. What a shame..... I have six pairs of these handles....some chrome looking.....some brass looking.....all have this sharp edge. Otherwise.....does what it's meant to do.....and maybe that's more important!
