Give them a try!

With the amount of miles I put on my car commuting to and from work, I go through tires quicker than most and have always stuck with the popular, name brand tires. I can’t say I’ve ever had a problem, but have also never been impressed. This last time, I really just resented spending another $600+ on a set of tires. I eyeballed these travelstar un33’s for quite a while, researched as much as I could, and read as many reviews as possible. There’s not a whole lot out there...After some debating I decided to give them a shot, thinking if they don’t last or if they’re no good, I’m not out a whole lot of money, as they were shipped to my door all in for under $310. I had my trusted local shop mount, balance, and align. Upon leaving the shop, as soon as I got up to speed I was immediately impressed with how quiet this tire rides. By far the quietest tire I’ve ever purchased. So far I am very pleased, and assuming they wear reasonably well I will certainly purchase the same tires again. They seem to dissipate water well, they handle well, and I have yet to find anything negative to say about this tire. I have only put a little over 2000 miles on them as of this review, so I can’t speak to their longevity, so that’s the only unknown here. Honestly, that’s the only reason I am not telling you to buy this tire now with no reservations, but so far I am extremely pleased and feel if I get anywhere close to 40k miles out of them then they are one heck of a good value.
