''off label'' use !
Substituted this switch for the typical 'automotive' type ignition switch -used in equipment not requiring the 'accessory' position...at 50 amp load ability the switch easily handles the needs of a diesel engine's starter solenoid without complicated wiring for a' piggy-back solenoid' .

UNEXPECTED REPAIR SUCCESS
MY 39 Y/O F150 , 3 ON THE TREE..SHIFTER HOUSING SIMPLY DISENTEGRATED FROM AGE AND CHEAP POT METAL MOLDING...THE REPLACEMENT IS PERFECT AND SEEMS VERY WELL CAST..WORKS FINE...
