Definitely not for plastic barrels ! Whe...

Definitely not for plastic barrels ! When the hole is cut and you stick it through the threads are not long enough to get the washer on ! I just placed silicon on it and let it set up then I siliconed the complete around the hole then placed the nut on the feeder ! Works fine ; and the chicken's can't get to the silicone ; because it's behind the nut ! Other than that it's a great idea !
