Unsearched mercury dime rolls from Denver
1 of 1 found this helpful Took a chance on two unsearched rolls of Mercury dimes from Denver, hoping to find elusive key date(s) for my set. It was a gamble, and one takes the chance of finding or not finding those dates needed to complete, or add to, a set. Alas it was not to be, and not being a chance taker in life I should probably have known better: i.e., the desire of finding a key date is much lower than the reality of such a find. And so I need to temper my wants with a good dose of reality and not repeat what I consider to be an expensive foray into my now disappointed desires.
To be accurate, the rolls are crimped at both ends in such a way that they seem tamper proof, and the initial excitement at what might be found is later tempered by what is or is not found. If you like taking this type of chance, the excitement is palpable, but if you calculate the cost/benefit ratio you might take pause at paying twice the cost for a similar item without the possible promise of finding a key date.

DW 059 BR Cordless 18V impact wrench
This tool is almost perfect to remove lug nuts and other fasteners (which can be accessed) because of its portability. With 300 ft-lbs of torque as claimed, it falls somewhat short of Dewalt's advertisement, but it is still convenient for limited use. For the tool guy who has to have everything, why not and for the tool challenged, it still has useful purposes. Just make sure you have a fully charged battry and you're good. It is not, however, for those who want to remove fasteners via lug wrenches, breaker bars, and ratchets who are, in that sense, purists.
It's an OK tool for its intended usage.

Attractive frame with ordinary lighting ability
This picture light has an attractive build and will physically not overpower the picture it lights. However, it is not suitable for large paintings, over 25X35, or thereabouts, as the light intensity is high near the top and notably weaker at the bottom, which is to be expected. It does have an "awkward" mounting plate which takes some mechanical fiddling to set up, but it works. It does lower the light to the picture used with the mount, and it can be mounted either to the picture or the wall using this mount. Being something of a "tinkerer" my choice was to mount the square transition connector (between ordinary lighting wires and the curved rod leading to the light) to the picture using the two side screws with metal supports to connect to the picture frame. It can be done in other ways to suit your own application.
In short, a medium quality, attractive light for a smaller picture with some work to attach for proper set-up.
