Great cooler
I love it. I researched the Pelican vs the Yeti before buying and I think I made the right choice. Haven't had a single problem in the 8 months I have had it. Not only did it save me money vs the cost of the yeti but I really like the heavy duty closing snaps vs the rubber pulls on the Yeti which I understand dry rot rather quickly. In the hot months when you are constantly opening and closing the lid the ice doesn't last long but I am sure that is the case with any cooler but when I was not driving my truck I filled the cooler with ice and left it on the bed of the truck and still had ice 10 days later. And thats setting in the hot sun. Since the weather got cooler their is no telling how long the ice Will last. I haven't taken it to Hatteras yet but if anyone wanted to bring fresh seafood home I don't think there is any cooler that would out perform it. Can't wait to try it. Wonderful cooler.
