Springfield 1903 Nickel Plated Oiler
This product came to me exactly as it was described. I did require some cleaning, but ended up being a fantastic historical addition to my Springfield 1903 rifle. I did not want a pristine piece that had been stored away somewhere with no real history behind it. This item was historically correct and was wonderful to explore. Oiler was a great value and had historical quality (materials and workmanship) with it. The oiler is strong and durable with the metal/nickel and gaskets complete and entirely functional. Perhaps the oiler could be replated if absolute perfection is desired, but I do not think it is needed or appropriate. The oiler by itself has historical significance. This item, along with my other associated pieces, is something I am proud to have and to show others. It is a product of the past plus a valued treasure for today and tomorrow.
