Love those clips!
I used to use these cords & clips when I worked for Ma Bell. Those "bed of nails" clips make it easy to attach to small wires. They don't crush the wire like some clips do. The only downside of these cords is when they get wet they affect the meter reading so keep them dry!

My old Bell System meter
I used to use this type of meter back in the 70's & 80's for testing telephone lines. Of course, today, they have much more accurate & sophisticated devices but I love the simplicity and the rugged construction of this one. It measures simple (low current) DC voltage and also shows shorts, grounds and opens in copper wires. Because of that it can be used to test any (non-energized) lines like electric, CATV, door bell and any household wiring before you connect them up to power. And what value today since they're no longer used or made! They use a large 45 volt battery that is still available today.

I like it better than my old Sansa Clips.
I love the way it downloads songs from my PC so much faster than my old Sansa Clips did. I love the fact that the on off button is not a tiny one that is hard to press and flush mounted on the top or side of the unit like the old Clips were. Just press the center button for @ 2 seconds to turn it on or off.
I seems to have more settings than my old Clips did but I don't use most of them anyhow. So far (and I'll change my review if it quits working) it's really a much improved product and I like it.
