Problem Solved
This is a fantastic product. With our old gas cooktop on our kitchen island, anytime we cooked bacon or sausage or anything fried, the smoke alarm would go off scaring the kids and neighbors. We had no way to vent to the outside unless we put in a very expensive hood changing the openness of the kitchen and even then not sure we could do it. So we researched and found the Jenn Air ventless kit with their downdraft cook top. It is awesome. We dropped it in the island and then installed the Vent Free Kit under the island as recommended. The downdraft and dual filter system work so well and we couldn't be happier. So glad we found this product. It is well made, very sturdy, and we are very satisfied. And it is a fraction of what a vent system would have cost. Tearing out celings or floors, hiring contractors, etc. Way better. We love it.
