Awakenings DVDs Brand New Robert De Niro Robin Williams

Awakenings is exactly correct to describe what these people experienced.

It is an engaging story about the relationship between a doctor and his patients, one in particular, all who have a similar disorder that he is able to temporarily ward off. He gets to know them during this short period of time and comes to admire their value and appreciation for life. Once the time ended though, he grieved the loss, but continued to try for similar returns of function for these patients.

The story was quite interesting, but it's been a long time since I've read it. I was getting a copy for a friend who likes biographies.

The Title is definitely perfect for this film, once you've seen it, it makes sense!

The story holds your interest and constantly keeps you wondering whodunnit? I also appreciated getting the DVD earlier than originally expected.
