Small tablet, more comfortable to hold, medium strength LTE signal outdoor, poor signal indoor with T-Mobile
1 of 1 found this helpful I unlocked the SIM for T-Mobile service however this tablet is probably more suited for AT&T service because it lacks band 12 for T-Mobile 700mhz LTE. This gives it poor reception indoors and medium reception outdoors in so Cal.
Pros: Small, light weight, 4g LTE
Cons: Not 100% suitable for T-Mobile service

Unlock Code for LG V410 7.0 G-Pad
The tablet was originally for AT&T. When I inserted a T-Mobile SIM it asked for an unlock code. I then bought this code on Ebay. It took several hours to receive the code. I typed it in and the tablet immediately indicated it was unlocked. The T-Mobile signal came on and I was able to setup service. This tablet however does not work great on T-Mobile because it lacks LTE band 12. This gives it a poor signal indoors and medium signal outdoors.

Proprietary to Dell 7010 SFF motherboard
I recently picked up a new Dell 7010 SFF motherboard for a really low price. It was missing this front panel extension unit. The motherboard powers up fine without this panel but I decided it would be nice to add more USB ports to the existing ports on the motherboard. This unit adds USB 2 and USB 3 ports, audio connectors, and a HDD activity light. I believe it only fits the Dell 7010 SFF motherboard. The motherboard is fast and friendly using a Core i5 3550 processor and this front panel works perfectly. I would prefer Dell use fewer proprietary parts and is the main reason I never buy Dell motherboards unless the price is really low. Btw Dell also uses proprietary fan connectors, I had to swap two (of 4) wires on the Intel CPU fan and modify the connector. Same with the case fan. Some people would not be able to do that and maybe forced to buy Dell fans.
