XL & Death Before Dishonor. Way ahead of their time for 1993. Love it.
I bought this cd new when it come out and its still one of my all time favorites. I love it both musically and lyrically. Heavy Metal music with lots of low bass and XL's awesome rap lyrics. This cd preaches more than any other music I have as well as most of that being played on Christian radio. XL deals with real life / sin issues that most bands just find too offensive or controversial to sing about. If you like metal with some rap lyrics and are a Christian who takes the Bible literally this cd is for you.

Great features and sound quality for this price range
Just installed this and am quite impressed for the cost. I paid $100 and it came with free harness adapter, mounting plate and shipping. Features HD and analog AM/FM tuner. Cd deck plays mp3 wma cd's. USB ipod pandora control that also controls music on our LG phone and probably others . 1/8" aux in jack. 3 band EQ at 100hz 1000hz 12000hz. 2 loudness levels. Compressed audio sound enhancement. 3 sets of pre-amp outs with built in crossovers. Adjustable color back lighting. Separate adjustable brightness for the display and back lighting. Sound quality of the built in amp is good and is rated at 20hz-20khz at the rated power of 22 watts rms x4. I have only 2 minor complaints. (1) When display is set to clock it shows only the clock. When you change stations or tracks it will briefly show the display for the change made then go back to showing only the clock. Would be nice to show the time with the other info. (2) The high-pass crossover options are 100hz 120hz and 150hz. 50hz-60hz Sounds better in most cases. Most factory and aftermarket speakers will handle this range just fine, it would provide a little more mid-bass up front and blend better with a sub. Anyways coo-dos to Kenwood for a great cd head at a very reasonable price.

Comfortable, great noise reduction, sound quality and tuner
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm impressed with the overall quality of these. They are well built and are very comfy even while wearing a baseball cap. Noise reduction is great (25db) and I can actually hear the radio even while running my chainsaw. As a hearing protection device they are not designed to play loud but sound clean and undistorted at full volume with the tuner. I would not describe these as audiophile quality but are plenty listen-able and sound balanced to the point that I don't wish for tone controls to try and "fix" the way they sound. Tuner is better than I expected with good sound quality and great sensitivity for something with a 6" antenna. The fm tuner is stereo but has auto stereo-mono and the signal has to be pretty strong to receive stereo. I get quite a few stations and only one is strong enough to be stereo, although I don't notice it flipping from stereo to mono while moving around, which is good. Tuning can be manual or scan and also has 10 pre-sets each for am and fm. This also has a 1/8" female aux in jack for a phone or other audio device. Powered by 2 AA batteries that are supposed to last up to 100 hrs. Very happy with these. They are excellent for the price, I got a deal at $33
