About the only game in town, but good quality
These Maxell tapes have been one of two brands sold in stores anymore, the other being Walmart's ONN brand. I have been making tapes off of YouTube to play at night before I go to bed, and these Maxell tapes are pretty much trouble-free. I've seen these for sale at some Walgreen stores and they are readily available on the internet. I'm not sure if these are newly-made or a surplus of new-old stock, but they record satisfactorily for my needs.

Cool as a dry martini at midnight
I have watched all 34 episodes of MR. LUCKY and it is a most engaging show. The format of the Fortuna II being a floating gambling casino was changed to a floating restaurant at the request of a nervous Lever Brothers, worried about some viewer's backlash. The quiz scandals were still fresh in the public's mind. The change in format didn't really harm the program. This show is witty, stylish and violent. It also features an excellent jazz score from Henry Mancini. (A cd soundtrack recording is included in this package--the only extra feature, but a very cool one.) John Vivyan plays Lucky very well, assisted by a very good Ross Martin as Andamo. Pippa Scott is featured as Lucky's sometime girlfriend Maggie. This series is as cool as a dry martini at midnight.

Fantastic Value!
I've had this for for days now, and I love it. You CAN get a decent tablet for 50 bucks! Does everything I need it to, and smoothly and quickly as well. Buy one!
