It actually works! I used it to drop an NP203 transfer case out of a 1977 K20, which was a little more tricky than the TH 350 transmission that was next, because of the weight distribution, but it worked alright. I had to find a spacer and a longer bolt to mount it to my floor jack, first. Think of a two or three inch stack of two inch washers that went on over the bottom shaft to make up the difference, or something like that. AND be 2% smarter than what you're working with, and it'll work.
