Stereo to mono adaptor plug.
Does exactly what it says on the tin............. An excellent cheaper alternative to the more expensive metal adaptors available and performs just as well.

My problem solved.....
Nice heavy duty drop bolt. Ideal for me as the gap between the gate and the floor was quite a big one. This had sufficient reach to secure the gate as needed. Not the prettiest thing i suppose but it's nothing a lick of paint wouldn't sort if you were that bothered.
