So far so good!
I have put about 1000mi. on it and it handles good in both wet & dry weather conditions. I don't push it in the rain, but it feels fine even in heavy rain. Only time will tell on mileage!

If you are a more aggressive rider this is a good cam.
3 of 3 found this helpful The cam runs out good. Driving range is 2000rpm and up. No chugging in one gear around town like the original cam. It pulls good until about 6300rpm when you feel it drop off. Very strong from 3000rpm and up. The screamin eagle pro fuel pak will not work with this cam. It is now a paper weight. I'm not sure about others, but the power vision by dynojet works well with it. Also now that it's getting better tuned in I'm going to get some heavier springs from harley. When speed shifting the clutch is a little soft. If you don't ride it that hard then you should be fine. Obviously an air cleaner and full exhaust are a must with any cam. This cam has a nice lope at idle, but don't buy a cam for the lope. Buy the right cam for your riding style and the bike setup. The trick to a good running engine is all parts added complementing each other. I would bet the S&S 465 cam would be better for the average rider that just wants more power without sacrificing low end performance.

Attention 2017 touring bikes
I got this and Stu first I couldn't figure out why it didn't fit right. The original model 71500088A does NOT have a cut out in it for the cover. The B which is now the new part number does. I took a razor blade and a knife and cut it out myself and it works, but don't try to force it because it needs the cut out!
