0 of 1 found this helpful There are several models of the SEIKO spellchecker and this one is similar to the ER-1000. The model has been improved with a two line display but is a smidgen smaller with a larger display but I find the Seiko models not as good as the Franklin Collins version. The ER-1100 is not quite the bright, and well resolved display compared with the Franklin although has a faster response than the ER-1000 and SEIKO have incorporated a simulated stop-watch when searching. In common with all spellchceckers in this price bracket, there are no dictionary definitions so anyone using these devices should have some spelling ability although they do offer a list of alternatives.

In trouble? Get a dongle.
I lost the use of my modem on my Sangsung laptop and was in despair. This little device got me off the hook: it's reliable, unobtrusive and does the job perfectly.
