THEIR WAR - German Combat Photographs

For a "Photo" book it is very poorly printed. Should have been printed on glossy paper not matte. The photos are all rather muddy, dark and low contrast. The publisher used too fine a halftone screen considering it was being printed on matte paper. I once worked for a publisher who always insisted on using the finest halftone screen because "it was the best" but then printed things on cheap matte rag paper. Good book - this printing is unfortunate.

Manufacture should tell you up front that these are post-war ONLY! You open the package and that is almost the first thing you learn about them. I suspect he would sell a lot less if he told you this from the outset. Excellent quality, beautiful castings but buyer beware.

Trumpeter 20' ISO Container

Well engineered, yet a very simple kit. As to door locks be sure you perform the assembly steps in their intended order. The instruction sheet layout makes it easy to mistakenly build them in the reverse order. Doors may be posed open or closed but door hinges ARE NOT workable. More options for paint color and shipper decals would make this kit more attractive. 165th SPC
