Doctor Mengele's Assistant Review
I read this book for my Health Disparities class. It was a unique perspective on how Auschwitz ran from the inside from a physician's perspective. His writing is simple and easy to read but loaded with emotion, fear, and loss. The events were horrifying and seeing a physician's internal dilemma between survival and his desire to heal was also interesting to see. Great book.
