Economical and versatile
I have used it for NiMH and alkaline batteries, AAA and AA, and can confirm that it works exactly as advertised in all cases (have not used it for C-cells or for NiCad, and probably won't).
I typically go through a 16-pack of alkaline AA's every week or two for my wireless microphones. So in the short time I have had it (about 3 weeks) the charger has already paid for itself by reducing the expense of new batteries.
It also recharges my NiMH batteries better than the rechargers I bought with them, sold under the same name brand as those batteries. Those chargers are years old, so that may not be so surprising. But the versatility of this charger means I don't have to concern myself with the expense of replacing multiple kinds of chargers just to keep using those batteries.

Can't beat it for the price
It makes my outdated CRT TV practical for use once again, and with very little effort or cost.
