A Superb Black Comedy
This real rarity from director Harold Prince deserves to be much better known. Michael York stars as a modern-day "gentleman adventurer" who has absolutely no scruples about who he manipulates in order to achieve his goals, while Angela Lansbury is the impoverished Bavarian countess who becomes the pawn in his complex plan. One by one he removes the people who stand in his way to becoming the new count, but one slip leads to disastrous consequences, with an ending which is quite unexpected. The title "Something for Everyone" really does sum it up.

hard-to-find size
This size of rechargeable battery is difficult to find in the UK at a sensible price, so buying them from abroad is a good option. With these I was able to repair a rechargeable drill and give it a new lease of life.

A good but abbreviated adaptation
Fans of Cornelia Funke's "Dragon Rider" books may be somewhat disappointed by this Sky adaptation which leaves out many of Ben and Firedrake's adventures, presumably to fit the allocated running time. Surely there was a good case here for a mini-series of perhaps 3 or 4 episodes of an hour each, there's plenty of material in the book. Having said that the characterisations are quite good and the action flows along at a steadsy pace, once the awful introductory narration is over and the story proper gets going. The animation is generally slick and the voices largely free from annoying American accents. Will Sky continue with the sequel?
