Incredible sound at a ridiculous price
When originally released, these headphones were designed and priced to compete with headphones like the DT-880 or HD-600 in the market. Nowadays, they can be had for anywhere between 30 and 60 USD. If you have big ears, you'll need to replace the pads, and the soundstage is not the grandest, but this set offers such a deep warm sound, without being dark or veiled, such an easy untiring listen, great response overall from deep bass to articulate highs that it is impossible to believe after hearing them that they cost less than $175 dollars (They were released at $230 back in 2008) for them.
PS. the beautifully machined plug and gorgeous braided fabric cable (non-detachable, very sadly) are also highlights.
