Amazing Salve
1 of 1 found this helpful Porter's Salve is a product that has been around for many years. Unfortunately, it is hard to find in drugstores. The last time I purchased it from a drugstore was from a Mom & Pop drugstore and I bought their entire stock (3). My mother discovered this salve back in the 60s when she worked as a seamstress in a mill. Her employer kept this salve in house for when the women would accidentally stick a sewing machine needle in their thumb while sewing. They would pull out the needle and saturate the wound with Porter's Salve and then wrap it in gauze. Within a few hours the pain would be gone. Porter's Salve is a "drawing salve" (meaning that it will literally draw the soreness out of a wound). We've been keeping some handy ever since Mom's working days. Dressing a wound with it will heal much better than using Neosporen. It's also good for soreness. I used it for cold sores on my lips because it cures them in a day or two. The stuff STINKS, but I can tolerate a bad odor if it does the job as well as this product does. Highly recommended!!!! It's also good for infected areas.

Great little storage bags!
These bags are the perfect size for what I wanted (storing necklace in to keep it from tangling with another necklace or necklaces). Good quality and very reasonable price.
