It is what it says it is and more.
1 of 1 found this helpful Loaded with some very good information about sock knitting. I found the directions a little involved for the first time sock knitter, but believe that's because they are "custom fit." A tremendous amount of work went into the book. There are excellent charts for sizing included.

Excellent Title
I love these needles. I'm a self-proclaimed yarny and love to knit. I'm currently knitting cotton dishcloths for a friend and was using my wooden needles but the cotton doesn't slip well on them. I bought a pair of aluminum needles but they weren't any better. Because I already own a sock set of the Knitter's Pride cubics I decided to treat myself to this set. What A Difference They Make!!! Even inexpensive 100% cotton yarn slides on them like a dream. They are lighter than other needles and the tips are longer and more pointed. All of these features make knitting much more pleasurable, easier on my hands, and faster - who would have thought square knitting needles would work.... Honestly, these needles are a minor investment for the absolute joy of knitting, Buy a set. YOUR WORTH IT!!
