Pretty good idea with a few minor flaws.
Few flaws:
- The range is good in clear sight of the dongle, otherwise 5m is a stretch (open doorway but no clear line of sight - and we don't have brick internal walls here, only plasterwalls.)
- The whole thing feels very flimsy and the on-off microswitch I'm sure will fail sooner rather than later.
- They've two extra buttons on it 'enter' and 'escape'. They could have added 'space' to it, it'd help a lot watching netflix :)
- it seems it has a timed auto-off. Nice, to save batteries, but to get it working again you need to use the aforementioned tiny and flimsy on/off switch
- the battery cover comes off entirely too easily

Proper material.
This is the proper material, not fraying in use. Worth it.

Low quality cards.
Very low quality cards - to be expected by the price. It won't last too long.
Mine has also arrived with a cutting fault on one, so we've started off with a marked card already.
At least it's cheap.
