If You Can't Hit, You Will Not Play Long
Your hitting will enable you to play at the highest levels of baseball. However, coaching at the lower levels of baseball do not encourage nor help to develop a sound swing mechanically and, perhaps the most important factor, an attitude or mental approach to an at bat which will enable a player to continue to the upper levels of baseball. Troy Silva does an excellent communicating the mental approach and mindset needed to play at higher levels of baseball. He also discusses the development needed for players who want to play at a higher level. It is not always mechanics but a mental approach.
