Johnson Blues King Harmonica Review
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm an amateur. Played guitar a long time. I started with harmonica about a year ago.
I have an expensive custom harmonica in the key of "C".
I got this Johnson in "Eb" because I was practicing some music in that key.
I like it ... Decent tone and projection. Also, pretty tight ... and it seems well made. It does the job surprisingly well.
No, not as good as my custom, but at 1/20th of the price I say go for it.

1 of 1 found this helpful I play guitar but I like the Harmonica for melody. I bought this harp because I I'm learning some Irish tunes. Usually, you don't see this tuning in relatively inexpensive instruments. I fully expected I would be taking it apart and working the reeds to get it to play accurate notes and in tune. But... No, it sounds good out of the box.
I've seen this brand offered in a variety of keys. In my opinion, this is a good deal especially for a beginner needing a decent instrument at an affordable price.
