Doesn't work wit the Leica Q

I ordered three of these R1 u strobes for my Leica Q because the description says it is for the Q as well as the Leica M Type 240. I works fine on the Leica M but they do NOT work on the Leica Q which was the camera I really wanted to match the strobes to.
