The Only Ones- Immortal Story (Best Of The Only Ones)

one of the most under rated bands of the punk/postpunk era - too muso for the punks, too sleazy for the musos. with the exception of Another girl, another Planet, which has been used in a recent TV ad, most of these songs have not had the exposure they deserve. personal highlights - Lovers of Today (for the rythym section) , From here to eternity (lyrics) , In betweens (guitar solo) , why dont you kil yourself (Imagine a dysfunctional early dire straits with a smack problem). A proper rock n roll band, like a bunch of gifted pete dochertys, imploded from self-abuse and out of control egos. a MUST HAVE COLECTION!

good time music, bargain price - all the hits in one place, not my usual taste but i think everyone needs this in their collection for the occassional pick me up!
