Impressive piece of silver!
1 of 1 found this helpful What is not to like about this cool looking skull-and-crossbones poured silver bar? I particularly like the weight and feel of this bar, the texture of the surface, and the old-time stampings on the surface. These are a nice addition to any collection, you will not be disappointed.

Informative Reference Source
This is one of my favorite reference books on large US currency. Lavishly illustrated, scans taken directly from the notes themselves, which allows for high-resolution images. On-target retail reference prices, in F/XF/CU categories. Includes quantity printed and number of known survivors for each note. Helpful in establishing relative rarity. Additional reference sources listed at the back of the book for further research. Softcover, 8-1/2" x 11", 300+ pages. Listed by author's CH numbers, includes the popular Fr# catalog number also. Hard to beat this book. Recommend.

A great little rarity!
9 of 9 found this helpful The 1923 Large Size Red Seal notes are very popular with currency collectors. They are pretty tough to find, and the higher grade specimens can command a fairly strong premium. A great example of American history during the "roaring twenties". I think that long term these particular Legal Tender Notes will exhibit a track record of strong price appreciation. Always strive to purchase the best examples of notes your budget will allow!
