cheap way to get a MCX354A-FCBT

You can easily convert this back to a Mellanox ConnectX-3 MCX354A-FCBT (which this is based off of) with fully functional 10/40gbE ports and 54g infiniband. The tools are officially supported by Mellanox and freely available to download. Tutorials on such can be found on servethehome's forums. Converting it allows you to use newer firmware and generic WinOF drivers. If you plan on purchasing one to convert, be sure it is a "A2" stepping or newer (on the bigger label with the MAC), if it is A1: you will not be able to convert it back to the generic version.
