MY goof...their advertising
1 of 1 found this helpful My goal was to find a white toaster, not available in the stores in our area. It arrived quickly to my delight...and was white. The first toast I made in the new toaster turned out well.
My problem...a bagel does not fit into this toaster and toasts with a part sticking out like the picture of the bread slices. Then I found the left side "bakes" browner than the right side. Note the lever that one pushes down to start the baking process...this is as far as it goes down, but when you see your "item" is getting too brown, you can't push it up to stop the baking process. Also, one may have to push down on this level three or more times to get it to stick and begin toasting. Poor working machine.
Recommend other buyers ask better questions before purchasing...I did get a white toaster.
