Most stylish story with plenty of side activities
With Yakuza 0 out in the West, and Yakuza Kiwami (remake of 1) coming out very soon, it's the best time to pick up the Yakuza series. They're weird, wild, wonderful, with a mixture of super-serious Japanese crime drama contrasted against goofy side-stories and minigames, tied together with a fun combat system with meaty, vicious "Heat Actions" that never get old.
With Yakuza 4 & 5 on PS3's PS Network, picking up the entire series isn't terribly hard so long as you've got the consoles to play it, and there's rumours that Sega is considering bringing the series to PC someday.
