Love this pouch.
It will just barely hold my Shield with 8 rd mags. I used molle sticks to attach to the belt straps on my backpack, it puts the pouch at the perfect location for fast access. The “quick pull” tab works much better if you add something bigger to grab; I use a small carabiner.
I really like the size and look of the pouch. It’s just big enough ( a little bigger than many I looked at) but not bulky like the larger sizes. Also, it doesn’t scream “GUN!” when you look at it. Could easily pass for a phone case or med kit.

Great sander!
The Makita 9403 is the real deal. Low noise and fast sanding, runs nice and smooth. Yes, it’s heavy. It needs to be heavy to take advantage of its power. The tracking adjustment works reliably. Dust bag collects a lot of material and the bag swivels to stay out of the way. Comfortable to operate. Makes big sanding jobs a walk in the park.

Wavelength max
The line handles great. MPX taper is hard to beat! The texture is a little noisy but not bad. I use this line on a 7’6” 3wt Redington Classic Trout - a moderate action rod for sure but the added weight of the mpx is no problem; it actually gives me more “punch” to deliver hoppers and small streamers.
