Unit does not record
3 of 7 found this helpful I incorrectly assumed the DVD recorder would record. Turns out I was wrong. It plays some pre-recorded. I already own many DVD players. I know this may sound a bit childish of me but when I put out the money for a recorder I expect it to record!

A bogus sale
This item was sold to me as a genuine replacement remote. It doesn't work as anything, not even as a Phillips universal remote. What deception!
