Really cuts styling time
The straightening brush gets sufficiently hot to smooth out natural African-American hair. The results are as smooth and last as long as a traditional flat iron. You can get close to the temple/scalp without burning yourself. Avoid raking it through hair too quickly to avoid pulling out strands in unnoticed tangles. Lefties such as myself do not have to contort to use it, which is great. It also has a lock feature on the temperature control so that you don't accidentally change it during use.

Very effective
This is powerful stuff. Used the soap a few times a week. Evened out the difference between exposed and covered skin in weeks. After years of no sunscreen on my African-American skin, my arms, face, and neck now actually look like they belong on my torso.
